Festival Cinema

Located on the once fashionable Boulevardul Regina Elisabeta, adjacent to the Capitol Cinema on one side and the Cinema Lumina on the other side. The Festival Cinema possibly dates from the 1930’s and was still in open in the Summer of 2002.

It has since closed, most likely due to new multiplex cinemas opening in the city. It became an Outlet clothing store, an extension to their store operating in the foyer on the next-door Capitol Cinema. A Pakistani restaurant named Soul Iman was operating from the building in August 2018, but it had closed by April 2019.
