Looks like it may have opened on June 30, 1950 with “Lady in a Jam” and “Lady From Cheyenne.” It closed at the end of its 30-year leasing period in 1980.

The Skyview Drive-In closed for the final time on September 13, 1980 with “Richard Pryor: Live In Concert” and “Which Way Is Up” as its last films.

In my 1956 motion picture almanac only this drive in is listed.SKYVIEW was owned in 1956 by SKYVIEW DRIVE-IN THEATRES.

Wasn’t there another Drive-in in Brockton? This would have made 2.

I read a brief history of the old Brockton Airport, which existed from the 1920s into the 1950s and it said that the Skyview Drive-in movie theater was built over the southwest corner of the airport property.
