This theatre was built for Jack and Virginia Martin in 1975. They ran it until 1983 when it was sold. It continued as a theatre for a while longer and was then was closed in 1985. It had 288 seats. It now is a Yamaha store.

Hello, This is Cathy sexton, I posted this info. and it is not the Alaska theater, it is The Airport One theater, Wasilla, Alaska..Just in case someone out there is wondering.

Thanks Cathy and ken for the picture and info. I just found this web site through Reminisce Magazine. I went to my first movie by myself, at 16 (a Junior in High School), in this theatre. I watched the Fox and the Hound. I was a Junior at Wasilla High School and Sarah Palin would have been a Senior that year, 1982.
