Located in central Sydney’s Chinatown area in the Market City Shopping Centre. The Reading Market City was located on the 3rd floor, next to the food hall, and was opened on 18th November 1998. It screened first run films.
Reading Cinemas chain closed the Market City on 26th August 2009. In March 2010, signage for the cinemas was still on the outside and inside the building, and the glass doors to the cinemas were firmly locked and covered, so no-one could see inside. In 2011, it was gutted and converted into an amusement arcade.

Opened on 18/11/1998. 225 seats.
