Located in the trendy Sydney inner-city district of Paddington on the corner of Oxford Street and Verona Street. Designed by architect Tonkin Zulaikha, the Palace Verona Cinema was inside a conversion of a 1940’s industrial building. It opened in 1996 with actress Nicole Kidman. Seating in the four screen was provided for 216, 181, 138 and 129. The cinema boasted a fully licenced wine & expresso bar.
On December 2, 2023 it was announced that the Palace Verona Cinema would be closing on 31st January 2024 due to a new building management and redevelopment. It moved to a new location at Palace Moore Park in February 2024.
