The Mountain View Drive-In opened in 1956 with car capacity listed at 350. This is a twin screen ozoner. Open from May thru September. There is a car wash under screen #1. The Mountain View Drive-In was independently owned and operated. It was closed at the end of the 2016 season.

SHOULD BE CHANGED TO 2 SCREENS.
This drive-in was operational in 2014. Should be listed as an open theatre.
Uh-oh! Sounds like we need to change this one’s status to Closed. From its Facebook post on March 5, 2017:
“I have talked with David Baker on March 4th to ask if the drive in will be opening this year. He informed me that it will not be open this year. He is so sorry to see it not open but just there was just not enough interest in it to keep it going.”
Mountain View is closed. Main screen tower demolished in 2017.
Is the car wash still open? First time i have heard of a car wash at a drive-in theatre.
no it doesn’t appear to be and booth screens are gone sadly tho the car wash remains!
The second screen is still standing. Earlier this month (July, 2022) they had a special showing of “Grease” with a car show.
