Canton Cinema

The Canton Theatre opened in 1929 with seating listed at 550. It was located across from the court house. Closed as the Canton Theatre in 1969 but was later renovated and became the Canton Cinema.

I could find no time line as to when it closed. When it was known as the Canton Theatre it was operated until its closing in 1969 by Gulf States Theatre.

The building is still standing but the usage is unknown.
