Please change the status to ‘demolished’.
Judging from on site view, it is fenced off and appears to being prepared for demolition.
Closed Jan. 19, 2014
The theatre is closed and the marquee on the road has been stripped.

Yes, Major, Thanks.
Thanks MajorMajor.
When you type in 5100, the marker pops up between two buildings. The theater is the larger on to the north, rather than the narrow one.
I was able to find the theater on AMC’s website: http://www.amcentertainment.com/Tri-City/
The theater is located in Largo.
MajorMajor, I wonder why I couldn’t get the theater to come up on the AMC web page?
When you go to the map, which uses the 5140 address, and go to the satellite photo, it shows no building. I haven’t been to Largo for a few years, but I found the 5100 address somewhere and if you change the address to 5100 it zooms into a building. Do you know if that is the theater?

The AMC Tri-City 8 officially opened on July 18, 1986. (There was a benefit premiere the day before with $1.00 admission and free popcorn.)
The debut presentations were:
Aliens (in 70mm)
Club Paradise
Pirates
American Anthem
The Patriot
Vamp
The Karate Kid Part II
There is some question as to whether this theater is located in Largo or Clearwater.
Yep, it’s still open. Here are the current features for 4/23/10: View link
It says 5140 E. Bay on here.
PLEASE CHANGE THE ADDRESS TO
5100 E BAY DRIVE
THANK YOU
Andy, I went to the AMC Site and could find no theater listed in Largo or by the ZIP Code, perhaps someone else runs the theater, are you sure it’s still open?
