The Eagle Theater was located in downtown Blountstown. A fire destroyed the building and a small park was erected on the site.

Interesting that Jackson Hewitt Tax Service, that is right next door to the theater site, has an address of 20846 Central Avenue East???
I’ve seen the Eagle Theater listed as being on Main Street??
I THINK it was open from AROUND 1935-1955.
Bob Jensen… I think the address is from the old address days. That Jackson Hewitt Tax office is about a block down the street on the south side of the road and has the 911 address that was implemented in the County some years ago, but far after the time the theatre first opened in the 40s (or earlier).
