The Palace Theater was opened in 1929. It later became the Hico Theater and closed around 1967. It then reopened as the Palace Theater and closed in the early-1970’s. The building currently houses the Masonic Lodge in Hico.

The Google Satellite Photo Red Dot is about a block too far north. If you click on the Hico Chamber of Commerce, which is 114, that’s fairly close.
From 2010 a photo of the Palace Theater building in Hico.
The Palace became the Hico Theatre and was open through 1967.
Palace Theatre opened in 1929. After its name change from the Palace to the Hico Theatre, it closed for the first time in 1967, then was re-opened. Primary sources show there was a motive for the closing which was beyond the owners expectations in the early 1970s.
