Located on Calle 24 at Avenida Carrera 7, in the Alameda area of the centre of Bogata. Until 1985, the Cine Esmeralda was a family cinema.
It was then converted to a sex cinema, and today is the last of the porn cinemas to operate in the city, all others were killed off by home video.
