Bayview Theatre

The Bayview Theatre opened in the autumn of 1924. It was built at a cost of $50,000; Charles F. Strothoff was the architect, with G.F. Stahlberg associate architect.

For thirty years it served residents of San Francisco’s Outer Third Street and Bayview Districts, but, like so many others, fell victim to television and closed in 1957, and was then torn down.

The Bayview’s number of screens should state “Single Screen.”
