The Talladega Drive-In was one of two drive-ins in this East Alabama town. The Talladega Drive-In opened by the Crouch Brothers of Jasper in 1949 and parked 300 cars. There was a special parking spot for African-American patrons. Like so many theatres in the South, it was operated as a Martin Theatre from March 2, 1950.
