The remnants of the drive-in remained until at least 2010, but by 2013 a detention center had been constructed on the property. There are no traces of the drive-in remaining.

Boxoffice, Jan. 18, 1960: “It is expected the Sunset Drive-In, Brunswick, will reopen Saturday (16) after having been closed due to a fire in the projection booth and concession stand.”

Boxoffice, Jan. 25, 1960: “S. O. Jenkins has reopened his Sunset Drive-In, Brunswick, Ga. It was closed for several weeks due to the effects of a damaging fire at the concessions stand”

Above address does not properly. It points to the southern intersection. The drive-in was at the northern end. Use 4145 Norwich Saint Exd (public works) to map. The outline is just south of this location.

Open for sure in 1967.

Owned at one time be Georgia Theater Co. of Atlanta?
