The Trail Drive-In was owned by Stein Theatres out of Jackonsonville, Florida. It was opened in fall of 1952. In 1956 all Stein’s theatres were in South Georgia. Wonder if they ever expanded into the Florida market. Stein stayed in small towns.

Looks like it was at about 495 Lumber City Highway (31.894721,-82.61516). Also, the city should be “Hazlehurst.”

The recent opening of Stein Theatres' new Trail Drive-In at Hazlehurst was noted in the November 29, 1952, issue ofBoxoffice.
