The Valley Adult Theatre was opened on September 25, 1974 with Linda Lovelace in “Deep Throat” & Georgina Spelvin in “The Devil in Miss Jones”. (Not to be confused with the old Valley Theatre at 5161 Lankershim Boulvard). It was closed in 1975. Another theatre in North Hollywood that seems to have vanished.

The Valley Theatre or later known as the Guild was located at 5161 Lankershim Blvd. was razed for the Hewlett-Packard Building. It was a move-over house for the nearby El Portal Theatre up the street. That Valley/Guild Theatre was at Magnolia Blvd. & Lankershim Blvd.. The other Valley Theatre’s address places it at Lankershim Blvd. & Vanowen Street.. The FDYB 1955 has no theatre address listed for 6749 Lankershim.

The Valley Theatre was operated by a DBA known as Electric Circus. Located just south of Vanowen St. on the West side of Lankershim Blvd, it opened in 1973 and closed in 1975. It operated as an Adults Only venue with a book store and a private two private viewing rooms (used for short loops at 25¢ for 2 minutes). For a short time within this period it advertised as “The Valley Adult Theatre”. From ads in the Valley News, it seems the theatre never ran any notable films. The site is now a parking lot.
