Under new management the Strand reboots July 1, 1934 with sound. (ad in the center). It closes again briefly and reopens with grand opening ad on March 24, 1940 (at left with follow up at far right). The theater’s last activity as the Strand is on August 30, 1942 as manager C.A. Metro moves over to the Eastland Theatre.
