I remember the Fort Gordon Movie Theatre as a child. It was located in a new shopping center built on base that had a PX, Bowling Alley and the Gordon Movie theatre. I would look through the front, but never went in. I guess it seated close to 600 or more. It was as nice as any theatre in nearby Augusta. It showed 35mm first run movies.

To this day I still have an "Executive Action" flyer with Burt Lancaster, Robert Ryan and Will Geer that I picked up at the box office. Admission was Adults $1.00 and Children 50 cents.

It was operated by ARMY & AIR FORCE THEATRES.

Steve Walpert operates the Dinner Theatre now.
