The Kinepolis Madrid was built for, and is operated by the Belgium based Kinepolis Group. It was opened in 1998, and is the largest cinema in the world! It opened with a total capacity of 9,195-seats.
Screen 25 is the largest auditorium with 996-seats. Seating capacities in other screens range from 706 down to 211. One of the screens is 4D. By 2024 larger seats have been installed which has reduced the total capacity to 7,273-seats.
