Reading a town history column in the Clarksville Star, there was a story from the early-1920’s that a theatre was to be built in Clarksville. At the end of the article it stated that it didn’t happen.
Another article from the 1930’s quoted the Clark Theatre manager saying the were going to show “Gone With The Wind” with two showings daily
