- Sep 21, 2010 — Mounties raid marijuana operation in closed cinema
Built as a Masonic Hall in 1896. It opened as the Windsor Theatre in 1912. Closed for decades, the Windsor Theatre in the Windsor Block it said to have once been a vaudeville house and that the Marx Brothers once performed there.
Apparently the apartments above it are still in use and it may have been used for retail or office space since it was last used as a theatre.

This probably half-forgotten theater was in the Canadian news recently because of a raid on it by the RCMP that uncovered a large marijuana-growing operation there. Here is one of the stories that has a picture of the former theater: View link
