The Open Air Cinema at Tamar at the Admiralty on Hong Kong Island, was a temporary one with 4,000 seats and a plastic inflatable screen measuring 24m x 12m.

It served as one of the venues of the 2005 and 2006 Hong Kong International Film Festival.

HMS Tamar was the former site of the naval basin attached to the headquarter of the British Forces Overseas Hong Kong. After the naval basin was relocated to Stonecutters Island in 1994, it was reclaimed as a piece of 4.2-hectare land by the harbourfront.

The site is now under construction for the Central Government Complex and the Legislative Council Complex.
