Whit Monday 1964 - Local band playing on the front canopy! The film showing that evening was “The Pure Hell of St Trinians” My father - L. G Clawson also known as ‘Peter’ was the Manager - this was the sort of stuff he loved putting on at Cinemas. Wouldn’t be allowed now of course. This was his favourite cinema.
