While I never saw a movie here, when I was little, I’d see the large screen from I-64 and I knew I was almost at my cousin’s house. The same neon logo found on the marquee sign was on the screen. The site was turned into a Walmart, but that Walmart has moved on to another site. The old Walmart building is still there, but I’m not sure what it’s used for now.
It has become a medical building. The name is HIMG: Huntington Internal Medicine Group
This theatre also advertised “Free Baby Bottle Warming!” for busy parents on a movie date.

Boxoffice ran an article on Oct. 4, 1952 about the East’s use of double ramping to squeeze in more cars in limited space. The site also included “a unique swimming and fishing pool” and a mini-golf course.
