The Showtown USA Twin Drive-In was a rather large drive-in located in northern Fort Walton Beach, in the Florida Panhandle. It was opened on December 1, 1972 with Elvis Presley in “Elvis on Tour” & Elvis Presley in “Speedway” on screen 1 and Angela Lansbury in “Bedknobs and Broomsticks” & Kirk Douglas in “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea” on screen 2.
Google Earth shows the theatre standing, if not still operating, in 1994, but the land had been redeveloped into an apartment complex by 2003.

Above address is incorrect. Approx. address and entrance for this drive-in was 256 Carmel Drivea. Now Village Lane.
Opened on 1/12/1972 on screen 1 with “Elvis on tour” and “Speedway” and on screen 2 with “Bedknobs and broomsticks” and “20000 leagues under the sea”.
