Jefferson Amusement Co. owned the Ritz Theatre in the mid-1930’s. This was one of four theatres that Jefferson Amusement Co. operated in Gladewater. Seating was listed at 520. The theatre closed sometime in the mid-1950’s.

Jefferson Amusement Co., Inc. and East Texas Theaters, Inc. (Paramount) of Beaumont, Texas, Carl D. Levy, President. They had about 50 theaters all in Texas.

Need address and photos.
