The Rialto Theater was operating prior to 1941, and continued until at least 1950.

Pretty run down, and ready to be demolished. From its appearance, it’s been abandoned for quite a number of years.

Open ~1935-~1955? Can anyone verify the exact dates?

Owned in 1950 by Inde-Ex Booking Service (Agent) of Dallas, B.F. White, Owner, He had over 20 theaters in New Mexico and Texas.

More info and photos are always welcome.

Only 2 blocks from the main street in town and across the street from the town’s “community center” building which is in a similar state of neglect.

All the top windows are broken so it is just getting weathered and rotten inside.
