Originally built as the Town Hall, it later became the Civic Theatre. Recently known as the Warrnambool Entertainment Centre, in March 2011, it was undergoing a major renovation. It had re-opened by 2017 as the Lighthouse Theatre.

The building has reopened!! Now called Lighthouse Theatre, and screens films at film festivals, and stages plays, musicals and ballet. Website is www.lighthousetheatre.com.au
