Located in the east Melbourne suburb of Doncaster. The Village Twin Theatre was opened in 1983, adjacent to the Westfield Shopping Centre, which had opened in September 1969.

The shopping centre was expanded in 2007, causing the closure and demolition of the Village Twin Theatre. A new 9-screen Village multiplex has been included in the new extension.
