The Rialto Twin opened in 1995. Seating is listed at 187 for auditorium 1 and 174 for auditorium 2. The theatre was operated by Criterion Luxury Theatres and featured first run attractions. Last operated by Caprice Cinemas, it was closed in 2014, but reopened in late-2014 by Hollywood 3 Cinemas. It was closed on March 16, 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It was announced in September 2020 that the closure would be permanent.

As such, this theatre should currently be listed as part of the Caprice Showcase Theatres chain.
Sadly, another very nice small cinema has closed. The marquee now just displays “THEATRE CLOSED”.

Now an art house.
The Rialto closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic on March 16, 2020. Rent negotiations floundered during the pandemic and the closure was announced as permanent at the end of September 2020.
