Graeme, i got alot of information on Augusta’s Theatres by reading local Authors books on the city,I am sure if you live in Savannah you guys have the same kind of Local history books.Borders, Had several good books by locals here.
Hello Mike thanks for the info but I actually live in Australia and am trying to find out as much information on theatres by John Eberson as I can.
In the March 21, 1908 edition of ‘The Billboard’, their list of ‘Electric Theatres and Nickelodeons’ has a Majestic Theatre, Savannah, GA Manager J.R. Carter. Seating capacity:100 playing 10 shows a day.
