The Grand Theatre was opened on October 20, 1937 with Pat O'Brien in “Back in Circulation. It continued to operate as a movie theatre until the mid-1970’s. It has since been demolished.

Owner S. G. Fry had installed a wide screen at the Grand Theatre, and had the house repainted inside and out, according to Boxoffice of May 15, 1954.
