Opened in 1915, this was one of several Nostrand Theatre’s which have operated along the length of Nostrand Avenue over the years. By 1926 this Nostrand Theatre was operated by the Small-Strausberg Circuit.
This Nostrand Theatre was closed in 1933. By 1969, it had been converted into the Lyndon Baines Johnson Health Complex.

The Lyndon Baines Johnson Health Complex (LBJHC) in Brooklyn, NY, was a health facility that opened in 1969 under the sponsorship of the Office of Economic Opportunity, Department of Health, Education and Welfare, but lost federal funding in 1975 due to poor management and filed for bankruptcy
