Opened as the Pastime Theatre, it was renamed Folly Theatre in December 1917. The Folly Theatre appeared on 1918 and 1924 fire insurance maps listed by this name. It was closed in early-1926.
Another large theatre, the Strand Theatre, was located directly across the street. Both lots are now vacant.
