Originally the Theatre des Ternes was a live theatre. It was first screening films between May to September 1907. It became the Ternes-Cinema in 1910 and was renovated in 1926 by an architect named Guerin. It was reopened on 9th September 1932 with Brigitte Helm in “The Blue Danube”. It was renovated in 1963 to the plans of architect George M. Peynet. Seating was provided for 800, with 540 in the orchestra and 260 in the mezzanine. It was closed in 1981 and was demolished.

Apartments were built at this address in 1982.
