The former Kmart store closed on January 28, 1996, after operating for more than 13 years since the store’s opening on October 7, 1982.
This is my nearest movie theater. I’ve been going here since 2012, when I saw “Chronicle” (2012) here. I saw my first R-rated movie, “Kingsman: The Secret Service” (2014), here, just one month before my 18th birthday. I also saw my first solo movie, “Twisters” (2024), here.
The Turlock Stadium 14 was one of more than a dozen multiplexes designed for Signature Theatres by the San Francisco architectural firm Uesugi & Associates.
