The Pix Theatre was opened November 11, 1942 with Gene Tierney in “The Shanghai Gesture”. It was closed June 1, 1947.
It was renamed Capital Theatre opening September 28, 1947, but was closed May 9, 1948. The building was bought by the city and was demolished to build a new court house in 1948.

Anyone know what the exact address is or at least which corner the Pix was on?
It would be nice to have photos, both inside and out and more info.

The Pix Theater opened on 11/11/1942
The Pix Theater closed on 6-1/1947. The announced that they were closing for the summer.
On 9/28/1947, The theater was renamed and opened as The Capital
The Capital closed for good on 5/9/1948
