Located in the town of Pahrump, close to Las Vegas. The Saddle West Theatre was opened on August 29, 2008 with Vin Diesel in “Babylon AD”. The theatre was created out of the banquet room of the Saddle West Hotel & Casino. The room was used for bingo in the daytime, and movie theatre at night.

It was not a great success, with only Harry Potter movies selling out. It closed in October 2009 with “Where the Wild Things Are”.

Saw Burn After Reading and Quantum of Solace here. My wife and I tried our best to see other films, but the movies always seemed to play when bills cleaned out our bank account, and never played what we wanted to see when we had some spare money. Of course, the idiot citizens of Pahrump complain they want a movie theater, Saddle West ponies up and provides it, and they complain about Saddle West providing a movie theater! No wonder the town will be a ghost town by 2020. (90% of the population is over 60.)
