Located in Chase Terrace, Burntwood, Staffordshire, at Sankey’s Corner (corner of High Road and Bridge Cross Road). The Chase Cinema was opened on 19th October 1925 by Miles Jervis Cinemas.
Bingo was tried out on Sundays from September 1960. Bingo later ran from Thursday to Sunday. The Chase Cinema was closed on 26th July 1975 with the ‘X’ rated film “Flesh Gordon”. The building was eventually demolished and sheltered housing for the elderly was built on the site, named Jervis Court.

This cinemas was managed by Miles Jervis Cinemas It was owned by the Original Miles Jervis wife. who lived in a caravan at the back of the cinema. and used to take a Big teapot into the staff for the tea break
