The Joy Theatre opened on November 5, 1946 with Sonja Henie in “It’s a Pleasure”. It was destroyed by fire on January 8, 1955. The final movies screened were Gerald Moher in “Invasion U.S.A.” & “Tales of the Whispering Pines”.
