Opened in early-September 1917, the Temple Theatre was running display advertisements in Lawton High School yearbooks, touting “Good Programs / Photoplayer / Music”. It was demolished in the early-1970’s.

The Temple Theatre in Lawton is mentioned in the May 25, 1918 issue of Motography.
Here is a notice from the September 15, 1917 issue of Moving Picture World: “Lawton, Okla.—The Temple, a new moving picture theater here, has been formally opened to the public.”
