Roxy Theater

The Roxy Theatre opened on October 29, 1939 with Jascha Heifetz in “They Shall Have Music”. In March 1942 it was renamed Victory Theatre and was closed in 1943. A few older folks in town said it later showed stag movies. The building is now a law office.

1940 city directory lists the Roxy at 118 E Main.
