Since the year 2007 the Bela Vista Shopping had been eagerly awaited by the citizens of Salvador. With its inauguration on July 13, 2012, also opened on the 3rd floor the cinema complex Cinépolis Bela Vista, with nine screens. It also came with some news: the first Macro XD screen in north-eastern Brazil and the country’s second 4D screen.
