The city of Manaus is located in Brazil’s Amazonas area to the north-west of the country. The Cine Oscarito is in the city centre and is apparently a popular place for gay men to go on a Sunday afternoon. Last operating as the Cine Premiere (Cinema Adulto) it was still open in 2024, but had closed by 2019.

By early-2024 it had relocated to Avenida Sete de Septembro in the Centro district.
