The Ozark Theatre was opened in the late-1940’s. It was operated by Dickinson Theatres in 1950. The Ozark Theatre was destroyed by a fire.

Maybe the information from the captions on the “Photos” page should be put on the main page, as it’s a lot more accurate: The Ozark was in business from 1920 to 1986, with a major remodeling c. 1951.
