The Kinematograph Year Book 1914 lists only one cinema in Otley, near Leeds, West Yorkshire. It is the Picture House in “Burrus Lane”. There is no ‘Burrus’ Lane in Otley, though there is a Burras Lane, which passes down the side of the parish church. The proprietor is named as Henry Watkinson. There is no other information. By 1931, it had been renamed Burras Lane Cinema, and had closed by 1934.

The KYB 1931 has it listed as the Burras Lane Cinema. So its demise was after 1931 and before 1934. The proprietor was given as A E Shields, 29 Kirkgate, Bradford.
