B. F. Wolfe was my Grandfather [Benjamin Franklin Wolfe]. He opened the “Palace Moving Picture Show” in January 1913 he sold it in 1920. It was a family affair with the children participating in the ticket sales, camera operation, cleaning, etc. There was live variety shows when movies were not shown. It was quite successful during the early years. In his second year of operation he added a “talkaphone”. I have been unable to find out exactly what that was. I even tried the Smithsonian without success.
