Cooper Theatres opened the Colorado Theatre in Greeley on May 17, 1957 with Gordon MacRae in “Oklahoma”. It was closed as a motion picture theatre in the mid-1970’s.
The theatre is now part of the University of Northern Colorado located on the outskirts of the campus on 8th Avenue. It houses the Music department and is used for performing arts. It was renamed Foundation Hall.
