The Strand Theatre was opened on March 22, 1937. It was operated by the Strand Enterprises Inc. chain. The theatre closed in the mid-1950’s. The building has been annexed into the Allen’s Furniture Co. building.

Opened on March 22, 1937. It was originally scheduled to open on March 15 but was postponed because of delays.
