The Bijou Theatre was a repertory theatre that opened in 1973 with a short life. Closed in 1974. The theatre was located in an old Bank building.

The Bijou was located at 2408 University Blvd. in Downtown Tuscaloosa. The City bought and demolished this block in the 1980s. In 2015 – a new Embassy Suites Hotel which is currently under construction will occupy the entire block on which the Bijou was once located.
